ECLIPSE: USA... FALL OF A KING

Eclipse: When consulting the historical astrological data, we have seen whenever there is a solar eclipse that occurs with a lunar eclipse in the same month, there is a change in power. In ancient record of Indian astrology, Mahabharata happened in which the great king of Kauravs Dhirtrasht was defeated by Pandavas, once belonging to the same house. All of his sons get killed in this great war including Duryodhan and great Bhishma. This can be considered as a revolt from own people.

Then, a similar incident with Late Smt. Indira Gandhi happened; she was assassinated by her own guards; again own people. This also happened within the 5 moths from the month that witnessed a solar and a lunar eclipse together in a month. And the effects of an eclipse last in number of years and months and days, etc.
The same thing may happen in America. As there is a total solar eclipse in whole American Continent, according to astrology this will be very inauspicious for USA. Specially the American Government will face its inauspicious effects.
It may lead America into a war , the King (President) of America will face many difficulties in this period and may loose his power. There are tremendous chances of war. He may face civil protests and many other political oppositions which may force him to resign from the president-ship. Also, the eclipse ill effects may bring financial instabilities, loss of agriculture due to some natural calamities. Outspread of disease may increase.
The best astrological remedy is to stay inside the home, don't go out into eclipse or avoid watching it directly. The best one can do is to prevent him/her from the inauspicious rays at least falling directly on him/her if he/she goes out in the sunlight.

ECLIPSE: LEO rashi

On 21-August 2017, Total solar Eclipse will occur. This Total Solar Eclipse will occur in Leo Rashi. The lord of LEO rashi is SUN itself . Sun is lord of only this leo rashi and the effect of this solar eclipse will be enormous.
Firstly, we will discuss the effect of Total solar eclipse on normal public, specially people with Leo lagana and Leo rashi. People with leo rashi/lagna will experience an inauspicious effect of this solar eclipse. There will be loss of finance and status. They may also face difficulties in their jobs, specially from bosses or higher authorities. People with Leo Rashi may also face problem by government authorities. Court case or judicial problems may also arise.
In vedic astrology, the only remedy is not to look or go out in solar eclipse time. Stay inside, don't let eclipse shadow cast on you.

Solar Eclipse: 21st August, 2017

A total solar eclipse can be seen on 21st August,2017. The moon will get combust at 02:06:44a.m. IST and will stay such till 10:18:40 p.m. IST on 22nd August, 2017. This eclipse is not visible in India. Thus, it will not impact it. It will impact all the places which will have the sight of eclipse, only the areas of the Earth that are actually getting eclipsed, being devoid of the Sun's rays during that particular time due to arrival of the Moon in between the Sun and the Earth.

Combustion of moon occurs every Amavasya or no-moon night. But, every Amavasya is not an eclipse. The effects of eclipse will start when Sun enters Leo raashi where Rahu is already present and Rahu is the chhaya grah, which eclipses Sun. The Vedic aspect behind it is already discussed in the previous posts. To be brief, Rahu punishes Sun for disclosing his truth of being a demon sitting between devas to drink nectar during saagar manthan when nectar was being offered by Mohini to devas. Sun will enter Leo raashi on 17th Aug, 2017 at 03:52:41 a.m. and will stay here till 02:59:53 a.m. on 17th September, 2017. So, the effects of eclipse can be seen in the horoscope of any native born during this time. But, effects will be different on each individual depending upon the position of Sun and Rahu placed together in a particular house of any horoscope; which further will depend upon the Ascendant at the time of the birth of the native.

The solar eclipse will begin when Sun and Moon gets alligned both at 4 degrees in Leo raashi ,i.e. at 10:40:52 p.m. IST and will last till 12:22:25 a.m. IST on 22nd Aug, 2017. So, the duration for the solar eclipse on 21st August, 2017 will be 1 hour and 42 minutes.Complete solar eclipse will be 11:59:58 p.m. IST when both Sun and Moon will be at exactly 04:46:52 degrees in Leo raashi. The total eclipse can be seen between 11:58:29 p.m. IST when Sun and Moon both are at 04:46 degrees in Leo raashi and it will last till 12:00:10 a.m. IST on 22nd August, 2017. So, the duration for this is less than 2 minutes.

Since the Earth takes one complete year to complete its revolution around the Sun. So, solar eclipse according to me should have an impact for an year and 42 weeks; i.e., almost 22 months. The distribution of this can be before and after the eclipse. Within these 22 months, fall of power due to revolt in own's army of the king is likely to occur in the region where the solar eclipse on 21st August, 2017 and lunar eclipse of 7th Aug, 2017 are both visible.

Eclipse: Vedic aspect

When Lords (Devas) and Demons ( Asuras) were fighting amongst each others to attain their control over the immortals, saagar-manthan was done. Amrit (nectar) was one of the entities to appear during the courseof samudra or saagar-manthan. Now, Lord Vishnu in the desire of giving nectar to devas, appeared in the form of Mohini, who managed to convince the asuras to feed nectar to the devas first. All the planets (the Sun, the Moon, the Mercury, The Venus, the Jupiter, the Saturn and the Mars) sat in a row opposite to the row of demons. Soon after acquiring the pot of nectar, Mohini started distributing it to the Devas. On seeing this, an Asura named Svarbhanu, who learnt of Mohini’s trick, sat amidst the Devas to get a share of the Amrit. He sat in between Surya and Chandra in disguise of a Deva and was lucky enough to consume a few drops of the elixir.Surya and Chandra could sense trouble and soon informed Mohini about the same. Mohini took her original form and cut off the head of Svarbhanu. But since, he had consumed a fair amount of the nectar, he didn’t lose his life. Brahma granted a boon to Svarbhanu and gave a new lease of life to him.His head was attached to a snake’s body, while the snake’s head was fixed to his body. Thus two entities were born – the former one came to be known as Rahu and the latter as Ketu.Rahu and Ketu swallow Surya and Chandra year after year to avenge the defeat. It is believed that these partial and total but temporary disappearances of the Sun and the Moon result in eclipses.Rahu is believed to diminish the effects of the Sun, while Ketu diminishes the effects of the Moon.

Eclipses in August, 2017.

This year, 2017, we are going to witness two eclipses; one Lunar eclipse on 7th Aug,2017. Rakshabandhan is also falling on the same date. That's why due to sootak starting 9 hours prior to the eclipse, the auspicious time for tieng Rakhi is very limited (between 11:07 a.m. IST and 01:50 p.m. IST). Lunar eclipse timing is 10:52 p.m. IST and it will last till 12:22 am IST. falling on the next date, i.e, 08th August, 2017.
In the same month, on August,21; 2017, we are going to witness Total Solar eclipse.
As mentioned earlier, if the two eclipses, One Solar and the other Lunar occur during one and the same month, kings would be destroyed as a result of revolt of their army and there would be bloody wars. This year also, we can see cold war going on between the most powerful nation, as on date; America against China; the most populated country as on date. There can be war between the two. It will effect other nations too.

Eclipses: Examples

Example-1:

Chart of Solar eclipse (Annular) on 30th May, 1984; Wednesday

It was a solar eclipse not visible in India, visible in North America, except North West Arctic regions Greenland, Iceland, extreme north West of South America, western part of Africa and Europe.

Duration of eclipse was 5 hours 41 minutes (from 7:26 pm to 1:05 am), maximum eclipse at 10:15 pm.

1. Venus sets in East on 14th May, 1984 and rises on 10th July, 1984.
2. The Moon rises on 30th May, 1984 at 10:18 pm., i.e, which shows danger to autumnal crops and the king.
3. The eclipse was aspected by malefic (Mars) was to result in famine and pestilence over the country.

The axis of this eclipse was in Taurus/Scorpio), the Ascendant of Independence chart of India, also effecting the birth chart of Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India. The eclipse (Taurus) received the eight aspect of malefic Mars(R), which is posited with another malefic Saturn(R) in the Solar eclipse chart.
Just after 5 months of the Solar eclipse, Smt. Indiar Gandhi was assasinated by her own security guards (like a revolt of the army) and followed by a blood bath in the country due to mass killings of Sikhs by her supporters.
The Ascendant of eclipse was Sagittarius, eighth house of Independence chart and 12th from the Moon sign of Smt. Indira Gandhi. The eclipse was in Taurus and Scorpio sign (having 1/7 axis of Independence chart) which was in Smt. Indira Gandhi's chart was as follows:

From the Moon sign: (5/11) (Triene and sextile)
From the Sun sign: 1/7
From Ascendant: 11/5 (Triene and sextile)
The above illustration proves the effect of eclipse.

Example 2:

Solar eclipse on 22nd/23rd November, 1984 (not visible in India), duration was 5hrs 20mts (from 1:43 a.m. to 7:03 am).

Effects of Eclipse

The eclipse have telling effect on individuals only when they fall on the radical planets, Medium Coeli (MC) and lagna. The North nodal eclipses (eclipses involving Rahu) are stronger in their effects than the Soth nodal ones (eclipses involving Ketu). North nodal eclipses usually produce good effects and south nodal eclipses usually bad.

Different positions and effects:
1. North nodal, if they fall in sextile (3rd and 11) or triene (5th and the 9th) to the Sun, the Moon (natal positions) and other sensitive points (lagna or MC) or when conjunct with benefic planets (Jupiter and Venus)-produces favorable results.
South nodal in the above positions, produces feeble good results.

2. Eclipse falling in 8th house and badly aspected/aspect the natal position of the planets (especially when the dasha is also of bad bad planets)- evil results, bad health and loss of position.

3. If Lunar eclipse falls in Solar Ascendant (Sun lagna)- Native suffers bad fortunes provided there is no aspect of Jupiter.

4. If Lunar eclipse falls on natal Sun (father) or it falls on the natal moon (Mother) - parents suffer. If it falls on Lagna (self) - fortune and health is affected badly.

Male natives face more bad effects than female natives. In modern times, the girls are also moving out for education, job and business, so they must have similar effects.

The effects of Solar eclipses last for as many days, weeks, months and/or years as the hours of the duration of the eclipse.

The successive eclipses have "overlapping effects."

According to some astrologers, the effect of Solar eclipse starts about seven months before and for Lunar eclipse, it starts 6-8 months before.
Another view states that the effect starts on the day of the eclipse and lasts until the next eclipse.

If the two eclipses; one Solar and other Lunar occur during one and the same month, kings would be destroyed as a result of revolt of their army and there would be bloody battles. Such event happened in case of Smt. Indira Gandhi.

If the Luminaries rise or set being eclipsed, there would be danger to autumnal crops as well as to the kings.

If the eclipse is total and/or be aspected by malefics as well, there would be famine and pestilence over many parts of the country.

The eclipses are also responsible for earthquakes. The effect of eclipses on the Earth and in the sky causes earthquake.

Eclipses are responsible for political disturbances, indicates wars, natural calamities, etc..

Eclipses: Reasons for occurence

The reasons for the Solar eclipse are the same as for lunar eclipse, i.e., the Sun rays should be stopped by the dark (non-luminous) Moon from falling on the Earth. It can happen only when the Moon comes in the line of the Sun and the Earth and in between them. The Moon moves eastwards with reference to the stars at an average speed of more than half a degree per hour. During its movement, it continually interposes its disc between Earth and the stars. The sudden disappearance of a star by the Moon's disc is called the Occultation of the star by the Moon. Actually the covering of one celestial body by another is, in general, called occultation. The Solar eclipse is also an occultation of the Sun by the Moon. The eclipses give advance information about the auspicious or inauspicious events,f,az which may take place in the life of a native or a nation during the period between one eclipse to another eclipse.

According to some well-learned astrologers, duration of eclipse (the hours and minutes are taken as months and days respectively) decides the period during which the effects of that particular eclipse are likely to take place.

Eclipses: Types

There are two types of eclipses:

1. Lunar eclipse
2. Solar eclipse

1. Lunar eclipse: It takes place when the Moon passes through the shadow of the Earth in the heavens. This will only occur when all the three, i.e., the Sun, the Moon and the Earth are nearly in a straight line. The Sun and the Earth are always on the ecliptic but the path of the Moon is inclined to the ecliptic at an angle of about five degrees. So, the Moon may or may not be on or very near the ecliptic when the Earth is in between the Sun and the Moon, i.e., on Poornima or the full-Moon night. Lunar eclipse does not occur on every Poornima; it occurs only when the Moon is near to Rahu or Ketu, i.e., near ecliptic. When the whole of the Moon's disc is obscured, the eclipse is said to be a total eclipse and when only a part of it is obscured, it is said to be a partial eclipse.
As seen in a horoscope, Sun and Moon during the period of the Lunar eclipse will be opposite to each other in a manner that they will be in opposite houses; i.e., at the 7th position from each other with Rahu and Ketu with either of them also existing opposite to each other similarly will be in proximity to the Sun and the Moon. Position of Rahu and Ketu will be in accordance with the ascending or the descending position. If the Moon crosses the ecliptic while going from South to the North, it is ascending node and Rahu will be placed near to the Moon and Ketu will have its position near the Sun. While, if the Moon crosses the ecliptic while going from North to the South,, in that case, it is the descending node, Ketu and the Ketu will be positioned along with the Moon and Rahu, exactly opposite to it at the 7th position with the Sun. So, the effects of the planet Moon in the horoscope of the native at that time will be eclipsed.

2. Solar eclipse: It occurs when the Moon is in between the Earth and the Sun, i.e, on Amavasya or no-Moon night. During a solar eclipse, the Moon is on or near Rahu or Ketu, so that its latitude is zero. The Moon, the Earth and the Sun all are in a straight line.
As seen in a horoscope, during the period of the Solar eclipse, the sun and the Moon will be in the same house, i.e. in close proximity to each other along with either Rahu or the Ketu, depending upon the node being crossed. If it happens in the ascending node, Rahu will be positioned along with the Sun and the Moon, while Ketu being opposite to it at 7th position. And, if the eclipse happens in the descending node, Ketu will be placed along with the Sun, the Moon and the Rahu will be located at the 7th position from it, exactly opposite. In such a position, the Sun's rays will not be able to reach the Earth and so the effects of the planet Sun in any horoscope falling during that shadow will be diminished or lessened, in accordance with the partial or total eclipse and its duration.

The effects of the eclipse will be according to the position of the planets in a particular horoscope. So, it will vary for every different horoscope. Also, the amount and duration of eclipse will decide the intensity and the duration of the effects.

Eclipse: Introduction

As per Vedic astrology, eclipses or grahans are very important in forecasting as an eclipse can change the entire scenario and the effects of various planets at individual levels in all the lives, whether a person, a country, nation, inflation, price drop and hike, earthquakes, accidents, mishaps, etc. Let's learn all these relations of eclipses associated with Vedic science.

All the planets (as considered by Vedic astrology) Mercury, Venus, Moon, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto reflect the light received by them from the Sun. None of these have their own light. The Sun is the only illuminated heavenly body which is actually a star in the solar system. All planets revolve around the Sun. The Earth is also moving around the Sun under the gravitational pull of the Sun. This keeps its revolution in an elliptical orbit. The Moon is moving around the Earth and along with the Earth, it goes around the Sun too, under the gravitaional pull of the Earth. The Moon has its own pulling force like that of the Earth. During the course of its movement, when the Moon or the respective planet crosses the ecliptic plane (Great circle on the Celestial Sphere whose plane passes through the Earth as its Centre. It is the apparent yearly path of the Sun round the Earth in that plane), the crossing points are called Nodes of the Moon or the respective planet. When they cross the ecliptic plane while going from North to South, the crossing point is called descending Node (Latitude of the moon or the said planet is Zero while changing from the positive to negative). The line joining those two nodal points is said to be the line of the nodal or the axis of the nodes. Rahu and Ketu are the two nodes of the Moon. When the Moon crosses the ecliptic while going from South to the North of the ecliptic, it is the ascending node of the moon called Rahu.  The latitude of the Moon at Rahu is zero and is on the increase from the negative (south) to the positive (north). while crossing the ecliptic going from the north to the south, i.e., decending node of the moon is called Ketu.
